My problem is that even though they are both hydrostatic, the 500 shifted great but the 1100 is a bear to shift. I know that shoving hard on the brake pedal should relieve pressure but that only works marginally. Yup, my rtv 900 suffered the rear axel problem, at about 600hrs. Cost me right around $600 to fix. A little late for my first time, but I will go chech torque on rear today. If your Kubota tractor won't start, it could be due to the following: Dead Battery. Corroded Battery Terminals. Loose Battery Connection. Faulty Safety Switches. Bad Starter Motor.
